The Board is responsible for the overall corporate governance of PSTM including setting goals for management and monitoring the achievement of those goals. It comprises eight members, five of whom are independent directors. These members have a high standing in business circles, and bring with them a strong blend of varied and rich experiences to guide the growth of PST. Mr Teo Choo Wee Director and Acting CEO Mr Teo Choo Wee Director and Acting CEO A non-executive director of PSTM, Mr Teo is the acting CEO with effect from December 1, 2009. Mr Teo, who has over seven years' experience in the shipping industry, has held a number of senior management positions in manufacturing and trading firms before joining PIL in 2002 where he is currently the Deputy General Manager responsible for fleet management and the sale and purchase of ships. He left Citibank in 1988 to head AFC Merchant Bank before becoming the President and CEO of Keppel TatLee Bank from 1991 to 2001. Clarkson in London in 1971 and worked in its Paris office before joining Simpson Spence and Young in London. Mr Jones is now a full time director of Island Shipbrokers, a leading Singapore broking company. Mr Esben Sofren Poulsson Independent Director Mr Esben Sofren Poulsson Independent Director Mr Poulsson currently sits on the Boards of Torm Singapore, Epic Shipping Group and FR8 Singapore. He has close to 40 years of experience in international shipping, with an in-depth knowledge of the dry bulk and product tanker markets.
